Once again gut bacteria is associated with mood and behaviour.

In this interesting study researchers found that differences in groups of gut bacteria reflected in higher levels of negative feelings in the women studied. Clearly this does not show whether that is a cause or effect (does the gut bacteria affect the mood or is the gut altered BY mood) but does again suggest a healthy gut bacteria is likely to result in a healthier and happier human attached to that gut.
Join us on our workshop to find out more about the microbiome at and around birth (see events page for details) and how we need to give babies the best bacterial start.
